Direct Debit Agreement Terms and Conditions

These Direct Debit Terms and Conditions cover any direct debit authority and agreement with App.licious Group Pty Ltd (ABN: 13 6031 09452). 

1. Our commitment to you 

Where you have a service with App.licious Group Pty Ltd that does not include variable charges, we will not change the amount or frequency of drawing arrangements without your prior approval. Where you have a service with App.licious Group Pty Ltd that does include variable charges, the amount and frequency of the drawing arrangements will be as per the terms and conditions of your service agreement with us. This may require drawing differing amounts at various times to cover the charges you have incurred.  
App.licious Group Pty Ltd will not disclose your details except where necessary to App.licious Group Pty Ltd’s financial institution and for the purposes of conducting direct debits with your financial institution.  
App.licious Group Pty Ltd will give you at least 14 days notice in writing if there are changes to the terms of the drawing arrangements. For monthly recurring subscription charges, App.licious Group Pty Ltd will draw from your nominated financial institution account usually 5 business days prior to the expiry of your current subscription period. If the due drawing date is not a business day, App.licious Group Pty Ltd will attempt to draw the payment on the closest business day before or after that date. 

2. Your commitment to us 
You agree and understand that by creating an account with App.licious Group Pty Ltd, we will use your nominated credit card account or your financial institution account for ongoing drawing arrangements unless you contact us and tell us to stop that drawing arrangement. You must enter a valid credit card in order to open and maintain an account with App.licious Group Pty Ltd and commence a drawing arrangement.

It is your responsibility to:  

  1. Ensure your nominated account can accept direct debits. 
  2. Ensure there are sufficient funds available in the nominated account(s) to meet each drawing. The due balance will be deducted from the nominated bank account/credit card on the due date of the invoice each month. 
  3. Advise us if the nominated account is transferred or closed, or the account details change. 
  4. Arrange an alternative payment method acceptable to App.licious Group Pty Ltd if App.licious Group Pty Ltd cancels the drawing arrangements.  
  5. Ensure that all account holders on the nominated financial institution account either sign or verbally agree to the Direct Debit Authorisation. 

A fee of $20 applies if the financial institution rejects a Direct Debit transaction. Available payment methods are by bank account direct debit or by credit card. If you wish to change your payment method, please contact us in writing by email to [email protected]

3. Your rights  
If you wish to alter the drawing arrangements for your next direct debit please contact App.licious Group Pty Ltd at least 10 days prior to the due date of your service renewal to allow this change to be processed or make other arrangements as soon as possible. App.licious Group Pty Ltd cannot guarantee that changes can be made in time for the next direct debit but will strive to achieve this wherever possible. The drawing arrangements may include: 

  1. stopping an individual drawing
  2. altering the DD Authorisation  
  3. cancelling the DD Authorisation 
  4. changing to another payment method

Where you consider that a drawing has been initiated incorrectly, you should first contact App.licious Group Pty Ltd. If you are not satisfied with the response, please contact our complaints officer via: andre @ applicious.com.au. App.licious Group Pty Ltd has formal procedures for dealing with a complaint. You may also direct any disputes, stops or cancellations through your financial institution. 

4. Other information 
App.licious Group Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel drawing arrangements if drawings are dishonoured by your financial institution. Your drawing arrangements are also governed by the terms and conditions of your App.licious Group Pty Ltd account.
